Notes can be refactored just as code.
- Look at what you already got in your vault. In Obsidian Quick Switcher and Search are good tools for this. Analyze incoming and outgoing links for the related notes.
- Improve note structure. Reference to ToC until it looks good enough.
- Explain. With the updated structure explain new/updated headings.
- Split note into smaller chunks if it becomes too long/wordy. You can add link in the heading, explain it in short in the “hub” note, but move detailed explanation to a separate note. Like this:
